Energy storage systems.

Energy storage in its broadest sense is deemed an enabling factor to provide sustainability and security of supply when incorporating fluctuating energy sources, such as solar and wind, to an electrical grid.

Furthermore, it could provide ancillary services to the grid, such as reactive power supply and grid support.

The Flex Power Grid Lab offers the facility to evaluate connection criteria, ancillary services, charge-discharge cycles and fault-ride through criteria of storage systems up to medium-voltage levels and up to 1 MVA.
