Condition Scan

For a fast and reliable condition assessment of your HV and MV installations KEMA has developed the so called condition scan.

This scan processes the results of inspections and on-line diagnostics. Depending on the type of the equipment the following diagnostic techniques are used for suspected and/or strategic installations:

 

-        Partial discharge measurement  with ultra high frequent (UHF) and/or acoustic detection technique

-        Thermal imaging  using infra red radiation

-        Oil-analysis  including gas-in-oil, furanic analysis and physical quality.

 

The condition of equipment is the combination of possibly reparable failures and the degree of not reparable ageing. Based on the equipments condition KEMA recommends possible and optional future activities. These recommendations comprise specified maintenance, complete or limited revision or the need to apply more sophisticated diagnostic techniques.

 

With this condition scan KEMA has broad experience based on inspections and diagnostics of several types of equipment and a database with which it is possible classify the nature of a possible error.
