Products and Processes

Free seminar - how to specify the adequate safety level?

Low-voltage panels are often assembled by local panel builders to meet their customers' requirements and safety standards. At present, testing and certification usually do not extend to local panel manufacturing. How can you, as a consultant, be sure all the requirements are met?

To answer this question, KEMA introduced a new service: Panel Manufacturing Assessment. This program focuses on the process quality of local panel manufacturers – from raw materials through to delivery and communication with clients.

In order to introduce this new service to you and to share our knowledge on risk reduction for low voltage switchgear and control assemblies, we would like to invite you to join us on a free KEMA specialist seminar in Dubai (November 19) or Abu Dhabi (November 20). Click here to register for one of the two seminars.

The following subjects will be discussed:
• Introduction of KEMA and 3rd party international certification schemes
• Panel Manufactuering Assessment – CENELEC based 3rd party factory assessments
• Basics of type testing – the international standard IEC 60439
• Developments on the new version of the IEC 60439

Between the presentations and afterwards there will be time for questions and discussions. The seminar will be conducted in English. You’ll receive a confirmation and final program after registration. For registration and more information on KEMA’s Panel Manufacturing Assessment please click on the “read more” button below.
