Certified cathodic protection and piping: verifiable expertise

The KEMA Surveyor Certificate is valid for a period of five years.

• Theoretical knowledge is combined with practical competence:
• You know how cathodic protection systems work
• You know what’s possible and what’s not 
• You are able to carry out measurements
• You know how to check the cathodic protection system via measurements   

The KEMA Specialist Certificate is valid for a period of five years.

• You have expert knowledge on how electrochemical corrosion originates. 
• You know the principle of operation of cathodic protection 
• You can design a cathodic protection system that complies with the regulatory procedures 
• You know how a cathodic protection system can affect other metal constructions 
• You can find disturbances and protection defects in the cathodic protection system on the basis of the results of measurements 
• You can come up with solutions for such disturbances and protection defects  

KEMA monitors the quality of the exams. KEMA certificates are widely recognized and give assurance that cathodic protection will be dealt with competently at all times.
