VCA and VCU – the assurance for your customers A safety certificate

customer that your people work safely? The KEMA certificate for building contractors (VCA) and
temporary employment agencies or staffing and placement bureaus
(VCU) is your solution. Every customer wants to do business with a
reliable partner. And if you’ve had an independent and reputable
certifier like KEMA looked at your operational management, then
you’re a reliable choice and you give your customers the assurance
they need. The assurances You offer assurance to employees and customers with the VCA
safety certificate. All concerned can count on you when it comes
to:
general health, safety and environmental statements;
procedures for reporting, investigating and recording unsafe
situations and accidents;
safety information and training for
personnel.
The VCA* (one star) certificate is a limited certification for
dangerous work that is intended for subcontractors with up to 35
employees involved. The VCA** (two stars) certficate is for
bigger companies and more comprehensive. There are extra criteria
that shall be met. This certificate is also intended for the
general contractor and for contractors that use third parties.
These days, customers are increasingly demanding VCA**. The Safety Checklist can be ordered from the VCA Centraal
College van Deskundigen (“Central Board of Experts”) (+31 70
3010893) and you can find out which questions are applicable
for your company and what must be regulated to obtain the
certificate VCA* or VCA**. VCU is the certificate for temporary employment agencies and
staffing bureaus that provide personnel to implement dangerous
tasks and/or work in a hazardous environment. The VCA and VCU certificates issued by KEMA are valid for three
years and our annual audits keep you on the right track in the
