Galaxy, Shuttle, Space Wagon. Not only do the names sound more and more like space travel, the quality criteria are also skyrocketing! You’re already familiar with QS-9000 from 1994. But in the meantime this initiative of the Big Three in America has evolved into the harmonized technical specification ISO/TS 16949. If you want to keep pace, then it would be wise to switch to certification based on this new, popular, international standard. 

KEMA has been certifying suppliers to the automotive industry from the beginning. For instance, the “old” QS-9000 is still a popular certificate that will be valid in the US until 2006. But more and more often your sector is choosing the harmonized technical specification ISO/TS 16949 in which the American and European criteria have been combined.
