HV asset replacement TenneT.

This paper highlights TenneT’s initiatives and approach for selecting, designing and constructing new substation (type and configuration) to replace the 380 kV indoor GIS substation Maasvlakte in order to reduce the risk of a failure in the switchgear installation with catastrophic consequences for the power supply in one of the most heavily loaded regions in The Netherlands.
