Value E-xelerator gains European acceptance.

KEMA is unique in becoming the first European certification body to gain accreditation for the Value E-xelerator management-system certification model. The model, pursuant to approval from the Dutch Council for Accreditation and HKZ (Dutch ‘Harmonisation of Quality Review in Healthcare and Welfare Foundation’), will initially be deployed for in the certification of Dutch community pharmacies.

The KEMA Value E-xelerator supports the design, implementation and maintenance of management systems. Participating organizations also take part in a benchmark that measures their performance against colleagues in their sector. The certification procedure involves a combination of regular and electronic audits.

Franchise chains and holding companies
The Value E-xelerator is ideally suited to use for franchise chains and holding companies that wish to maintain control of quality throughout their organization; it also offers sector organizations a simple means of giving their members a quality impetus. The company or sector can benefit from the benchmark results in the formulation and implementation policy, as well as in promotional activities.
