Material analysis and forensic studies
For forensic studies and other material investigations a laboratory is indispensable. The facilities employed in such studies include visual inspections with macro-photography, various spectroscopies, optical and electron microscopy as well as thermal, mechanical and dielectric analyses. KEMA is equipped with the full range of such techniques. However, in some cases it is better to perform investigations on site. Whether at KEMA or anywhere else in the world where there is access to laboratory facilities, KEMA investigators are able to perform forensic studies. Some tests may require certified laboratories with calibrated instruments. Other techniques may require a combination of facilities that are hard to find. The laboratories at KEMA will be able to fulfill the needs of the investigation. Find out more about these specialties: - Water tree evaluation
