Bi-pole tower design resulting in low magnetic fields.

On assigment of the Dutch TSO, TenneT, KEMA has developed a new design for high voltage towers.

The distinguishing feature of this new design is that it is not an optimized continuation of existing concepts, but a contemporary design in which functionality and styling will achieve a better acceptance of an inevitable facility. The main isseus for the new design are: low magnetic field, limitation of space and visual impact, proven technology, and a high availability, reliability and life span.
