Description | The most important issues concerning the chemistry of the water/steam cycle and the cooling water system, and the prevention of corrosion will be discussed. Furthermore issues such as conventional water treatment, conditioning and monitoring of the water/steam cycle, membrane technology, cooling water treatment including macro- and micro fouling, corrosion and chemical cleaning are on the agenda of this course.
