The Polish businesses attach a great deal of value to certificates that demonstrate that their management systems comply with all relevant quality standards. They consider it at least as important that the certifying body itself can withstand the test of criticism. Although various international bodies have already accredited KEMA, recognition by the PCA lifts KEMA's expertise and independence above any doubt. With the accreditation, KEMA can extend its services in Poland in the direction of large industrial concerns and other companies that want to have a PCA-accredited certificate.

1,000th KEMA certificate awarded
During the '1OOOQuality' event organized by KEMA at the end of March in the Business Center Club in Warsaw, the accreditation certificate was officially presented to KEMA. The event was intended to increase the brand recognition of the KEMA name, to make the Value E-xelerator concept (electronic management system, audits and benchmarking) better known as a new service and to reinforce the cooperation with current and future business contacts. The event was dominated by the award of the 1,000th KEMA certificate. KEMA has many years' experience in assessing the quality of management systems in Poland. The Polish company Zaklad Uslug Technicznych ELSTAR Sp. z o.o. was able to accept the 1,000th certificate in a festive manner. Moreover, KEMA’s regional manager Ryszard Cedrowski presented a number of quality managers from Polish companies with a certificate of merit for their contribution to improving quality management in Poland.
