Waste water treatment
Waste water Treatment (WWT) is an essential part of the flue gas desulphurization (FGD) system. The polluted water drained from the scrubber has to be cleaned before discharge is allowed. The legislation and limits of waste water discharge has always been very severe in the Netherlands. Coal-fired power plants in the Netherlands were forced to implement the best available technologies to remove the heavy metals and other pollutants from the waste water. The great diversity of experiences and the execution of several test programs have resulted in WWT plants with extremely low discharge loads. KEMA can surely help you improve the performance of your WWT plant. For more information please contact us.
