We specialize in research, analysis and consultancy in the field of microscopy. We use our expertise in many disciplines. These range, for instance, from solving production process problems to supporting the development of new materials and processes.
One of our specialties focuses on gas turbine materials. We have particular expertise in the area of corrosion and aging due to high temperature. Another specialty is the start to finish supervision of corrosion measurements in boilers. Special probes, the so-called KEMCOP’s, give us a very accurate image of local corrosion, for instance, in coal and/or biomass fired boilers.
Some maybe less obvious examples are:- tear detection in non-metallic components
- residue and raw material analysis
- determination of particle size distribution
