KEMA specializes in this field of consultancy, supporting clients with sound advice and pragmatic proposals.
Our consultancy services are backed up by the use of dedicated inspection methods and our own STERLAB-accredited laboratory. We identify the options and assess the economic viability of each.
By addressing problems on an integrated basis, KEMA is able to provide practical, customized advice. Recommendations on the use of process residues, (residual) life expectancy analysis, support with the preparation of specifications and quality plans and guidance on the maintenance and repair of buildings and structures of all kinds.

Training course

KEMA’s Residual Materials & Building Quality Consultancy Group is able to support clients with the training and instruction of staff on matters relating to concrete and related materials, in the context of inspection, structural maintenance, management and quality control.

It is vitally important that structures made of materials such as concrete receive appropriate care and attention. KEMA’s training courses therefore provide a thorough grounding in the effective, systematic inspection of such structures and the associated development of maintenance strategies.

The training is designed for people directly involved in structural inspection and maintenance work. The level of each course is geared to the client’s objectives and the participants’ background.

Participants learn about methods for the effective and systematic registration of data, the determination of maintenance requirements and the performance of checks in the context of organized upkeep programs.

Courses are carefully formulated, taking account of the client’s needs and the prior knowledge that participants bring to the course. The training provided addresses both theoretical and practical topics and all our instructors are experts in their field, backed up by KEMA’s STERLAB-accredited Residual Materials & Building Quality Laboratory. For more information, please contact us.
