SCR test facility

KEMA possesses a test installation in which the activity of fresh and spent SCR DeNOx catalyst is determined under well-defined and uniform conditions.
A selected part of catalyst is exposed to a representative flue gas mixture (containing N2, O2, H2O, NO, NH3 and possibly SO2). Consequently, the conversion of NO with NH3 can be measured as a function of the ingoing NH3/NOx ratio and optionally for other process conditions such as temperature, NOx concentration and space velocity.
Based on a pre-defined set of activity measurements KEMA will calculate a reliable and validated remaining lifetime for the catalysts inventory and advise you on the most advantageous order of replacing individual catalyst layers in the SCR installation.
