KEMA can help you with the performance of emission measurements. If you prefer to use your own instruments, KEMA can offer a verification service. Our Emission Measurement Department is both STERLAB-accredited and ISO 9001-certified. Furthermore, KEMA has expertise in the field of emission data reliability assessment and will on request perform a statistical analysis of new and/or historical measured data in order to establish just how accurately your NOx emissions have been determined.

A plant’s emissions depend in part on the operating efficiency of its thermodynamic installations. The maximization of operating efficiency depends on continuous process monitoring. The ThermoWareTM performance monitoring software used by KEMA calculates and visualizes the main performance parameters for individual installations. The result is on-line, real-time insight into factors such as fuel consumption, efficiency, power and component fouling and degradation. By reference to data on a gas turbine’s characteristics, the turbine’s NOx production can also be calculated, doing away with the need for periodic emission measurement. A model of your installation is entered into the software by KEMA and we liaise closely with you regarding the choice of performance parameters to be monitored, reports to be generated and trends to be graphically visualized.For more information please contact us.
