Meeting environmental requirements
A waste incineration plant’s flue gas cleanup system is very important. The Netherlands was the first country in the world to place strict emission requirements on waste incinerators. And the Dutch requirements remain the most exacting to be found anywhere. KEMA was involved in the development and realization of flue gas cleanup systems for waste incineration plants from the outset. We have unrivaled fifteen years’ hands-on experience with flue gas cleanup, covering various fields and various activities, including:- preliminary design, comparative studies, horizon scanning
- project management during the design and construction phases
- overall cleanup process optimization
- operational support aimed at improving reliability and availability and minimizing running costs
- residue quality improvement and enhancement of waste water treatment
- maintenance advice aimed at increasing availability and minimizing cost.
