1 Occupational health and safety aspects of pulverized fuel ash

This report deals with the determination of health and safety implications of working with pulverized fuel ash as a dust. KEMA DAMŽ (Dust Assessment Methodology) is a tool with which it is possible to determine easily whether the Threshold Limited Values (TLVs) set by the Dutch health authorities for macro-elements and trace elements in ash are likely to be exceeded in the event of exposure to pulverized fuel ash dust. The KEMA DAM is used for the risk assessment.
KEMA-report 50030086-KPS/MEC 00-6041.
