Over 40 % of the electricity generated  in the Netherlands comes from coal-fired power plants. As they import coal from all over the world, the Dutch power generating companies are now forced by technical developments and tightning legislation to apply innovative techniques. By participating in extensive R&D programs, expert support for refurbishing and newly built power plants, and operational support made KEMA the leading consulting company in coal- fired power plant technologies.
