Quality assurance in emission trade

The auditor is the second quality layer in the confidence between the players in the emission trade.
The role of the auditor can be best compared with the accountant reviewing the annual financial reports. The company calls on an auditor to review the emission report. The companies are allways responsible for the reported emission figures.
The emission trade comprises three quality assurance levels:
