The business line Products tests professional and consumer products such as appliances, lighting equipment, power tools and electronics. Within the business line we are looking for an engineer to join our cluster Lighting.

Tasks

You will start as an engineer and, after comprehensive internal training, you will undertake tests on a variety of products, and you will prepare reports setting out the test findings. You will draw up the test programs and verify the work done by colleagues working on your projects. You will also be responsible for your part within the total project (hours and lead time).
After several years in the role of Engineer you may move on to the role of project manager, in which you would also have commercial responsibilities. When necessary, you will visit customers in Europe.

What we're asking

You should be able to work and reason at a level associated with intermediate or higher vocational education, specializing in electrical engineering or electronics. Several years’ work experience would be an advantage. You should also have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work both in a team and independently. It is important that you can use your initiative and that you recognize the importance of accuracy and delivering quality. A good command of written and spoken Dutch and English is required. Knowledge of German would be an advantage. Limited international travelling is required.
