Location and team

KEMA Quality Wenzhou Lab is a joint venture which was founded in the end of 2006. The Lab provides low voltage electrical component testing and certification for more than 80 customers around China. Wenzhou has a workforce of 35 FTE. KEMA Quality - originally a Dutch company - is part of the German company DEKRA Industrial. An international environment, with English as the company language. You will be stationed in Wenzhou. Hierarchical you wil report to the Managing Director of KEMA Quality B.V. in Arnhem, the Netherlands but business wise you will be managed by the Business line manager Components, also from Arnhem. You will work in close cooperation with your Asian collegues of the KEMA Quality location in Shanghai, Guanzhou and Hong Kong.

Tasks

The key goals of this position are:
- Contribute to and execute the Business line strategy in Wenzhou and manage daily operations
- Build an organization that can accommodate multiple Business lines
- Actively develop the sales process and increase the number of large accounts

You will have full Profit & Loss responsibility. We are looking for a manager with strong leadership skills, able to motivate and develop people, improve operational excellence and pro actively cooperate with local and international collegues and counterparts.

What we're asking

You have an academic working and thinking level, considerable experience in management, an international focus and last but not least a strong commercial attitude. You are familiar with the Chinese business culture. Knowledge of and affinity with the testing and certification business are essential.
